Too little, too late?
As the world argues over whether climate change is fact or fiction, people in some of the world's most vulnerable developing countries are dealing with erratic weather conditions, failing agriculture and feared water shortages.
At the Copenhagen Climate Summit in December 2009, developed nations pledged to give $30 billion to developing countries over three years. These funds will go towards developing two areas: adaptation and mitigation. As these funds begin to filter through to countries such as India and Brazil - is the gesture too little, too late?
This is an investigation into a part of the world where adaptation is key to surviving the change in weather. People in North India, despite their carbon footprint making little impact on the current climate change crisis, claim they are paying the largest price for the Western world's mistakes - but is this true?
