Elaborating on the security system, Commissioner Dadwal also mentioned setting up of ‘man-named deployment’, wherein each officer is assigned one fixed position.

The cops are currenlty being trained to deal with emergency situations.

“Once the venues are finished and handed over to the police, we will further tighten the security at the stadiums and they will be sanitized and locked from September 15 onwards.

“During the Games, we will monitor all movements within the venues with the help of live feeds from the CCTV cameras.

"This will be done from the Central Command and Control Centre for Information (C4i)”, Mr Dadwal said.  

Though security affairs seem to more in place than the venues, a number of top athletes are giving the Games a miss.
