The Lowdown on iTrips
"iTrips" are a creation from Griffin Technology as an accessory to Apple's iPod. They are FM transmitters which can be plugged into the iPod to convert audio output into radio signals.
By doing so, the signals can be picked up by any radio, including car radios within the fifteen to twenty foot range. 
Different Models
Over the last 3 years, Griffin Technology have developed many different versions of the iTrip, in an aim to cater to all iPod users.
As a result, the versions released, are all essentially the same however appear different.
This is due to the various different styles and models of iPods that are available such as the iPod Mini, iPod Nano and iPod Black.
In order to be able to appeal to all iPod owners, Griffin designed several versions of the iTrip to match with the designs of the different iPod models.
