EU Regulation

Previously, the EU had set out to ban the use of radio devices and transmitters such as the iTrip.

The rules dictated that any FM transmitter with a coverage area of over 8 metres are banned and illegal.

New models of the iTrip have managed to refine the coverage area to less than 8 metres, meaning that they now meet EU Standards. As a result, the iTrips are now CE Approved and can be bought and sold in the EU.

However, it is still illegal to use them.
