A cultural offering
Advocates of Romanian culture are adamant that promoting national traditions help Romania become fully integrated into the European Union.
This year opportunities for Romanians to showcase their talents have increased and their work has been recognised.
In May the young Romanian film director Cristian Mungiu won the prestigious Palme d'Or in Cannes for his film "4 Months, 3 Weeks and 2 Days."
